Door County Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Interventional Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Diagnostic Imaging Team. The PA will work collaboratively with radiology technologists, remote radiologists, surgeons, clinicians, and other support staff to provide high-quality clinical care in both procedural and an outpatient setting. Position Highlights: High level of autonomy position. Responsibilities include performing fluoroscopy (including but not limited to contrast GI studies, lumbar punctures, joint aspirations, steroid injections, arthrograms, and other diagnostic studies.) Ultrasound-directed paracentesis, joint injection, and aspirations. Clinical Care & Procedures Conduct pre-procedure patient evaluations and determine readiness for procedures. Manage post-procedure care, follow-up instructions, diagnostic interpretation within scope, and coordination of next steps. Team Collaboration & Workflow Optimization Participate in service line development, workflow redesign, and process improvement initiatives. Education & Patient Advocacy Provide education to patients and families regarding interventional procedures, risks/benefits, and post-procedure care. Serve as a resource for nursing, radiology, and ancillary teams regarding interventional workflows and protocols. Qualifications Prior experience in Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, Trauma, Surgery or a similar procedural specialty preferred-willing to train strong candidates with relevant experience. ACLS and BLS required. NCCPA license with licensure in Wisconsin. Position 95% procedural with a fairly flexible schedule as a casual status employee.
