Qualifications: Associate's Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing. Active Registered Nurse license without restrictions. Preferred: 1 year experience in a stepdown/progressive care, neurology, cardiac, or high acuity setting. Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. Strong abilities in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation. Proficient with electronic medical record systems. Responsibilities: Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs and IV drips. Administer medications and implement treatment plans accurately and timely. Work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers for optimal patient care. Educate patients and families on managing acute or chronic conditions and using medical equipment. Maintain accurate patient records, following hospital and departmental regulations.
