Step into a dynamic nursing role focused on providing high-quality care within a multi-unit float pool covering ICU, MedSurg Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver professional nursing care to geriatric, orthopedic, and post-procedural patients, including those post-MI, post-cardiac catheterization, and post-CABG (post-op days 3-4). Manage a variety of titratable drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin. Interpret cardiac monitor strips accurately, working alongside monitor technicians. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, utilizing nurse aids effectively. Provide care in units equipped with CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high flow oxygen therapies. Respond flexibly to shift assignments, including possibility of standby call during shifts. Qualifications: Current RN license with a minimum of 1 year ICU experience. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Must pass the dysrhythmia exam with a minimum score of 80% within two attempts prior to contract signing. Ability to titrate complex IV drips confidently. Comfortable working in a float pool environment across multiple units and campuses. Candidates must not have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with any affiliated healthcare system in the prior 12 months. Flexible with schedule and weekend/holiday rotations.
