Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. Seeking a kind, trustworthy Caregiver to join a supportive and uplifting team that provides one-on-one care for a vibrant 39-year-old woman living with muscular dystrophy in her own home. This is more than a caregiving role — it’s an opportunity to build a meaningful connection and be part of a collaborative, respectful environment. This position involves assisting with activities of daily living and supportingthe woman’s remote professional work. You’ll play a key role as both a caregiver and a trusted teammate. This woman is an intelligent working professional and a Nonprofit Founder with a great sense of humor. She is an animal lover, a huge Taylor Swift fan, and obsessed with coffee. Location: Monona, WI Wage: $24 per hour for DAY SHIFT $28 per hour for NIGHT SHIFT Scheduling: 8 to 12-hour shifts are preferred - 7 days per week, but shorter shifts are possible. Part-time hours are currently available, primarily over the weekends. ALL SHIFTS require staff to be AWAKE. Responsibilities: Assistance with personal cares: bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, mobility, and transfers. Assistance with work-related tasks: emails/texts, dictation, typing, & phone calls, etc. G-TUBE care - feedings & medication Errands & outings – caregiver to drive the woman’s vehicle. Light housekeeping & laundry, & meal prep. Qualifications: No experience necessary Valid Driver’s License REQUIRED. Reliable transportation to work No allergies to cats or dogs. Willing to undergo a background check prior to hire.
