A contracted Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide school health services on-site in Eden Prairie, MN. This role focuses on supporting general education students by managing routine health tasks and performing health screenings to contribute to the school's overall well-being. Key Responsibilities: Serve on-site two days per week to support general education students with health needs. Administer inhalers and routine medications as needed throughout the school day. Provide minor first aid, including application of Band-Aids and basic wound care. Conduct hearing and vision screenings for students in special education, odd-numbered grades, and children identified through child find programs. Collaborate with school staff to maintain student health files and coordinate care. Desired Qualifications: Current and valid RN license with experience in school nursing preferred. Ability to work effectively on-site and handle both special education and general education student populations. Skilled in medication administration and basic health screening procedures. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educational staff. Comfortable working with children ages corresponding to odd grades and special education programs. Work Setting: This is a contract assignment located in Eden Prairie, MN. On-site presence required two days per week.
