Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. Respite Provider Location: Eau Claire, WI Schedule: Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week Pay: $14.13 per hour Position Overview We are looking for a patient, energetic, and reliable Respite Provider to support a child in the Eau Claire community. This role involves spending quality time together in the community while engaging in fun, active, and safe activities the child enjoys. Responsibilities • Provide one-on-one respite care in community settings • Engage the child in preferred activities such as: o Action City o Swimming (life jacket required; Chaos Water Park) o Playing soccer and baseball • Ensure safety at all times, especially during community outings • Support transitions between activities using cues and countdowns • Help manage frustration with calm, patient redirection • Encourage positive social interaction and fun, age-appropriate play About the Child • Speech delay • Can become easily frustrated and benefits from patient support • Has difficulty with transitions • Elopement concerns (requires close supervision) • Enjoys being silly, playful, and having fun Required Qualifications • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) • Experience working with children with Autism and PTSD • Ability to provide consistent supervision and follow safety plans • Patient, dependable, and attentive For questions or other inquiries, feel free to email us at cdwibrokers@consumerdirectcare.com For more opportunities, visit our Facebook Page: CDWI Facebook You can also complete this form to be contacted regarding other opportunities in your area: https://forms.office.com/r/bNA70UHRTF *If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record.
