This position is available part-time or full-time, offering flexible scheduling Monday through Friday to support work life balance. The ideal candidate will be experienced in oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures and dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care. Position Overview The role involves performing a variety of complex surgical procedures while collaborating closely with general dentists and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform surgical procedures including but not limited to: Wisdom tooth extractions Dental implant placement Bone grafting Surgical tooth extractions Treatment of oral pathology Management of facial trauma (when applicable) Conduct patient consultations and comprehensive evaluations Develop and explain personalized surgical treatment plans Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Provide post-operative care instructions and follow-up evaluations High level of comfort with autonomy and, practicing within your scope of practice. Required Education Candidates must meet the following educational requirements: • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school • Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program (4–6 years) • Advanced training in anesthesia and surgical procedures Required Qualifications • Active North Carolina Dental License or eligibility for licensure • Board certification or board eligibility in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery preferred • Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in oral surgery (preferred) • Proficiency in dental implant placement and surgical extractions • Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills • Experience with IV sedation or general anesthesia preferred What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Flexible work schedule (Monday–Friday) Supportive and experienced clinical team Strong patient base and referral network Practice Location 727 Wesley Pines Rd.
