How you’ll make an impact:
Reporting directly to the Vice President of B2B Marketing, the Senior Specialist in Experiential & Events plays a pivotal role within a best-in-class B2B Marketing team in supporting the SiriusXM Media ad sales organization across key advertising Industry Marketing initiatives, Agency Marketing endeavors, and sales events within the SiriusXM Media network. The ideal candidate for this position possesses a passion for planning and project managing impactful events aimed at resonating with advertising clientele and driving revenue. If you embody a creative mindset, have a proven track record of generating innovative ideas, have meticulous attention to detail, and is capable of operating across multiple projects happening within a fast-paced environment, then this role presents an exceptional opportunity for you.
What you’ll do:
- Contribute to development and execution of SiriusXM Media’s year-long calendar of B2B sales events and client experiences designed to drive advertising revenue and engagement among SiriusXM Media’s advertising customers
- Project Manage the execution of SiriusXM Media’s sales events, C-suite customer meetings, VIP client experiences, and Holding Company/Media Agency activations.
- Key contributor in the execution of advertising industry tent pole events such as CES, Cannes Lions and Advertising Week NY
- Work closely and partner with the team leads on invites, schedules, catering, swag, promo materials
- Facilitate relationships and deliver clear, concise communication between cross-functional SiriusXM Media teams
- Maintenance of project management databases and event budgets
- Communicates clearly across projects and people internally and externally
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in project management, integrated marketing, event activation, or digital marketing at a publisher, brand, or agency
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Google Docs and related project/program management applications to drive best practices
- Great at managing multiple projects at the same time, and being resourceful
- Ability to manage heavy workloads, prioritize, think quickly and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills; strong interpersonal skills and organizational effectiveness
- Has a can-do attitude, learns fast, and loves problem-solving
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $63,000 to $89,300 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
