This will be a 6-month contract position due to additional business requirements. Role will be known internally as an BU Finance Controller.
Core Responsibilities
Preparation of various financial reports for ANZ (Australia & New Zealand) Business Unit with a particular focus on sales and marketing cost performance to budget, forecast and balance of year outlook
Responsible for month end close and reporting preparation
Assist in annual budgeting and seasonal forecasting activities
Conduct financial modelling and analysis and provide insights to support value-adding decision-making, including presentation preparation
Use financial information systems as a natural resource for various financial information and help securing the integrity of the data
Support in key finance deliverables, e.g. internal and external audit
Identify and implement system and process improvements
Scope of work may extend to other countries in APAC region
Play your part in our team succeeding
In this position, you will play a part in the control and reporting of financial performance results for ANZ Business Unit and beyond. The role is part of APAC region Market Finance organisation and works closely with ANZ Senior Finance Manager, who is responsible for finance business partnering towards all commercial functions in ANZ BU.
Do you have what it takes?
Degree qualification in Commerce/Accounting/Finance
CA/CPA qualification
3+ years’ experience working in a large corporate with finance experience in management accounting and financial planning & analysis
Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience with Power BI is an advantage.
High attention to detail
Fast and curious learner, self-starter!
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
SAP experience is an advantage
This role may require you to work with others outside of Australia, in a different time zone
