What you will do:
- Shape and drive the strategic direction and operational efficiency of Silgan Containers and ensure the highest level of customer technical service and product quality.
- Lead efforts to deliver unparalleled technical support, enhancing customer satisfaction and allegiance, while driving the relentless pursuit of the highest level of product quality, setting best-in-class industry standards, and meeting or surpassing regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, mitigate supply chain risks, and seek out innovative technologies.
- Set the strategic direction for sustainability goals, focusing on sustainable sourcing and innovative developments to meet our greenhouse gas reduction and sustainability targets to achieve net zero by 2050.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance across all manufacturing operations. This includes ensuring products meet or exceed regulatory standards and customer expectations.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and innovation.

- Oversee Laboratory Services, Regulatory Affairs, Quality System Engineering, Materials Application Engineering, Technical Services, Customer Equipment Services, and Environmental Services.
We need you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 15 or more years of progressive experience in technical operations management, with at least 10 years serving in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing, consumer packaging, or food industry.
- Record of driving operational excellence, implementing quality systems, and achieving regulatory compliance.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
