JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY: Responsible for managing all Information Technology (IT) activities, including systems analysis, programming, computer systems, technology resources and auxiliary operations to achieve Young Brothers LLC's (company) strategic objectives. To establish the technical standards, methods and priorities while advising executive management on IT plans, projects and capabilities. This also includes supervising all IT staff and functioning as the primary interface between IT, users and senior management. Responsible for providing IT support, help desk and systems oversight for the Company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set objectives and strategies for the IT department that support the company's strategic goals.
- Select and implement suitable technology to support and streamline internal operations.
- Collaborate with and support operations to design and implement technological systems including, without limitation, terminal operating systems, platforms, and solutions to improve (internal and external) customer experience.
- Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage including, without limitation, artificial intelligence technologies.
- Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
- Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) to ensure optimal performance at appropriate cost.
- Organize and direct IT-related projects.
- Design and maintain the Disaster and Recovery plans for the company.
- Establish, monitor, and implement IT policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and audit guidelines and recommendations, as well external guidelines or requirements as applicable including, without limitation, cybersecurity maturity model certification and requirements.
- Make final decisions regarding the assignment of personnel within IT. Monitor and approve personnel-related decisions in conjunction with the company's applicable Shared Services policies.
- Direct feasibility studies, time, and cost estimates.
- Manage and coordinate all computer-related resource planning and allocation.
- Manage the acquisition of supplies and equipment within IT as well as IT equipment company-wide.
- Manage policies, acquisition and assignment of this company-owned mobile devices. This also includes oversight of user-owned mobile devices that are authorized for business use.
- Provide high level technical support and operational services to all IT system users.
- Be a leader for "Speak Up", including encouraging peers and staff to exhibit a safe and ethical culture.
- Responsible for all matters of employment including recruiting, training, development, promotion, discipline and termination of assigned IT staff.
- Direct, manage performance, motivate and develop IT staff for maximum performance.
- Perform special duties and other projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent knowledge of IT Systems and infrastructures.
- Strong experience in designing, developing IT systems and planning IT implementations.
- Strong knowledge in telecommunications (data and voice) and personal computer hardware and software.
- Experience in Local and Wide Area Networks.
- Demonstrated ability to create high performance teams, lead and inspire people, and get results through others.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities at both strategic and functional level.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems or engineering with 8-10 years of technical/IT experience, including relevant business systems and process automation. Proven 5-10 years' experience as IT Director in similar size company.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a normal office environment. May be required to work more than a normal workweek, including weekends. Travel may also be required. Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands or fingers; handle or feel; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The workday usually has a high number of interruptions and priority changes necessitating the need to remain flexible and focused in order to accomplish tasks.
