The Team:
The MyVest Client Delivery group is empowered to design, deploy, support, and scale secure, high-quality, optimally-configured client implementations and internal MyVest systems with superior customer service. As an integral part of that group, the MyVest Information Technology team is responsible for design, setup, and administration of all network, hardware, and office infrastructure.
The Opportunity:
- Coordinate software deployment into production systems for a SaaS solution working with large financial institutions that directly impact end user experience.
- Liaise with other teams within MyVest to ensure seamless integrations, including: Product, Engineering, Systems Administration, Database Administration, and IT.
- 360 management of code deployment, development, and staging systems - identifying potential issues, creating thorough documentation, and working closely with QA, Engineering, and Technical Operations to resolve any problems during the SDLC.
- Analyze and troubleshoot code stability concerns.
- Learn and assist in support of Eagle Investment Systems STAR implementation and updates.
- Work with leadership to identify new opportunities for technological or operational improvements.

Ideal Experience:
- Substantial hands on experience working with enterprise scale Java applications performing the following: troubleshooting, systems integration, downtime analysis.
- Expertise in a range of professional technologies including: Linux, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, NoSQL, Git, and GitLab.
- High level of experience supporting backend applications within the Oracle database.
- Manage complex code reviews and analysis, including branching, tagging, and merging.
Nice to have:
- Experience in supporting the Eagle Investment Systems STAR accounting platform.
- Experience in supporting applications leveraging NoSQL databases (Cassandra / Redis).
- Artifactory working experience.
- Experience with Docker and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of RESTful web services APIs.
- Experience working in the financial services industry.
Location:
- While MyVest is in a hybrid (office and work-from-home) work model, this role is required to be in the office frequently. MyVest will fill this position in the San Francisco Bay Area only.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary for this role will be between $195,000 to $240,000. Placement in this range depends upon a variety of factors including prior relevant experience and skill set.
- The range listed above is just one component of MyVest's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation includes an annual bonus, long-term incentives, and program-specific stipends.
