We are looking for Product Manager who will obsess about customer success, business process and compliance excellence, drive innovation, lead and collaborate across the organization to deliver customer value at the highest level of system scale and performance.
As a member of the Engagement Platform Product Management team in Marketing Cloud, they will solve challenges with optimizing the customer lifecycle from provisioning new products, tracking consumption of usage entitlements, and de-provisioning at contract end. You’ll work with our software and data science teams to leverage industry leading AI capabilities for detecting account abuse for SPAM and Phishing, make real-time recommendations to help customers manage their product utilization limits, and create self-service capabilities for internal teams to launch and monetize new products. You’ll also drive innovations in technology, process and culture to maintain our industry recognized compliance controls, while optimizing our infrastructure allocation to prioritize availability and cost-to-serve.
The ideal candidate will be humble, intensely curious, and able to influence and lead without authority. They will be data-driven and able to simply and clearly articulate complex ideas to customers, engineering teams and internal stakeholders. They will be able quickly establish quality relationships with customers and build an internal network of trusted advisors.
They will have extensive expertise in bringing product and features to market which have high impact. They will have experience in cross-functional transformative projects which have improved customers experiences and business outcomes. They will have worked within an Agile framework and with multiple Scrum teams.
Their Responsibilities Include
- Own the product vision and roadmap that synthesizes the needs of our internal and external customers over the long and short term.
- Be an expert on the Jobs to be done and proposed solution of your product vision.
- Understand how the vision will be delivered by the engineering team and provide input.
- Deliver products, features and integrations to market which drive significant incremental value for our customers
- Use quantitative data to inform decisions and measure impact of changes
- Conduct user research and use informed customer feedback to drive improvements to the licensing and provisioning processes for existing products and launching new ones
- Understand Salesforce and our competitors strengths, weaknesses and market strategy
- Anticipate blockers, conflicts and obstacles, and address appropriately to solve them.
- Collaborate closely with engineering leaders and teams to deliver measurable outcomes and improvements
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives as a delivery component, representing their team's work with a small number of dependencies.
- Act as the subject-matter expert for solutions owned by your team.
Education/Experience Required
- 8+ years experience in the technology industry with 4+ years in product management, engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with data intensive SW and or HW products, AI recommendation systems, Public Cloud technologies and Agile development methodology
- Experience driving large scale projects that require influence and coordination of cross-functional teams
- Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
- MS or PHD in Computer Science/Engineering, System Design, Product Management or related field, or
- BA or BS in any engineering field plus relevant job-related experience
- Experience with Agile development methodology

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,500 to $237,200.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $188,200 to $258,700.
