We are hiring an Associate with excellent analytical and presentation skills. This role combines management consulting with diversity, equity, and inclusion knowledge, allowing extraordinary access through Working Mother Media and its brands and the opportunity to do high-impact work. The Associate will support client engagements, working on a consulting team of EAB Seramount to support strategic consulting and advisory services to top executives across many industries. The cornerstone of our work is using evidence-based approaches to conduct in-company research to develop culture change strategies.
The position is located in Washington, D.C. but is open to remote employment within the continental U.S.
Primary Responsibilities:
Researcher
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses (lit reviews, interviews, data analysis, etc.), interpret findings, and pull out meaningful conclusions.
- Contribute to research studies that synthesize complex ideas into actionable advice for partners.
Project Management
- Support managing partner processes on time (e.g., scheduling interviews, completing data analysis, creating presentations).
- Meet deadlines to deliver high-quality project deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage processes related to partner-facing events and deliverables.
Communication and Delivery
- Write and edit clear internal and external deliverables, including emails, blog posts, and reports.
- Support the storyboarding of partner-facing presentations to communicate research findings.
- Communicate ideas clearly using executive-focused language and tone.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 1-2+ years of corporate work experience, or a graduate degree with at least 1 year of corporate work experience.
- Experience preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task.
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with at least two of the following: management consulting, project management, long-term research, or creating data-based deliverables.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Experience working with DE&I issues in a consulting or research setting.
- Experience working in a team environment and as an individual contributor.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $44,000 - $65,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors including experience, skills, and location. This hire will also be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation.
