Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter's 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel's 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building's legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan - a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.
We are looking for an experienced Regional Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing efforts for our two hotels, Riggs Washington DC and Lyle Washington DC.
This leadership role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. As Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving all sales and marketing initiatives for both hotels. Responsibilities will include:
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities to increase revenue and market share
- Develop pricing strategies, sales tactics, and promotions to achieve revenue targets
- Monitor and analyze competitors' sales and marketing activities and adjust strategies accordingly
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals
- Set performance targets and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure the team achieves its goals
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the sales and marketing team
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the hotel and generate leads
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business from all segments, including corporate, leisure, and group
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that includes digital, print, and social media channels
- Oversee the creation of all marketing materials, including brochures, website content, and advertising campaigns
Salary Range - $150,000 - $170,000 per annum
