Position Overview/Summary
The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) is accelerating its momentum as the fastest-growing large consumer goods company in North America by putting people at the heart of our business. Our Syrup and Freestyle Manufacturing is a key part of the NAOU (North America Operating Unit) Customer Experience (CX) Function. As the Manufacturing Plant General Manager, you will spearhead the operations at our Atlanta Syrup Plant, one of the seven manufacturing facilities within our expansive US network.
This pivotal role involves steering the strategic direction and overseeing all aspects of Plant Management, including Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, Environmental (QSE), Finance, Human Resources (HR), and Operational Excellence. You'll ensure the seamless continuity of supply, drive the execution of our annual business plan, and implement key programs, cultivating an atmosphere of operational excellence and teamwork within a customer-centric framework.
Position Related Activities and Key Role Responsibilities - Lead the Local Leadership Team in implementing the long-term strategy, vision, and mission.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Plant in all areas of Plant Management.
- Act as the site leader with local legal entity responsibility.
- Ensure the Plant achieves its annual business plan and compliance with all TCCC Standards and local regulations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to satisfy customers with continuous supply at optimum cost and quality.
- Ensure alignment and standardization across all sites on strategic matters.
- Lead and manage a team, enhancing employee engagement and developing future local leaders.
Customer Experience Responsibilities - Act as a steward of Customer Relationships, ensuring communication avenues are in place.
- Support Regions or OU's goals and business objectives.
- Develop strategies to fulfill current and future business needs.
- Liaise with Supply Chain for S&OP meetings.
- Facilitate Senior Review meetings with key stakeholders.
- Follow up on requests from bottlers or OU's.
- Interact with distributors/bottlers to meet their business needs.
- Provide timely information to support decision-making processes.
Required Functional and Technical Skills - Track record of executing business results in a supply chain environment.
- Experience in multiple functions, including operations.
- Business acumen and P&L management experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Strategy development in a complex portfolio.
Preferred Competencies - Operating Unit and/or Bottler experience within TCCC or equivalent organization.
- Technical qualifications in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Quality.
Education and Additional Qualifications - University Degree Required.
- Minimum 3 years Plant Manager experience.
- Minimum 10 years' related experience.
- Direct Technical and Operational Leadership roles in Manufacturing Operations in a relevant industry.
