Join our Brokerage team as an Assistant Vice President - Property Insurance Broker in Los Angeles, CA !
This position is in-office, with a hybrid schedule once training is complete.
Each Assistant Vice President is a vital member of our production teams, providing:
- Develop problem solving strategies for helping retail agents with their coverage needs
- Successfully manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
- Negotiate with carriers for the best program for clients
- Maintain strong relationships with key carriers in the Strategic Market
- Understand and know market appetites and preferences for types of business
- Set up and send submissions to carriers
- Reviewing submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
- Rating and preparation of new or renewal quotes and binders
- Review of and handling of inspection recommendations and discrepancies
- Assist in accounting procedures such as invoicing
- Data entry into multiple internet-based systems
We are looking for people with:
- 3+ years of wholesale, underwriting or retail insurance experience required
- Prior experience in property insurance required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- High-level of motivation
- Ability to prioritize important and pressing tasks
- Innate organizational skills, willingness to take on challenges, and focus on personal responsibility

Pursuant to California regulation, the salary range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000 and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
