What you will do
- Lead a rewrite of our web app.
- Build out and nurture a working style guide that defines our visual language and brand.
- Prototype new ideas in your favorite tools and/or code.
- Continuously improve our existing product.
- Have good copywriting instincts.
- Talk to users to get feedback on your designs.
- Navigate the intersection between product, design and engineering.
What we look for
- Full-stack engineering experience in any of the following languages and frameworks: JavaScript, Sass, React, Vue, AngularJS, NodeJS, Python, Ruby.
- Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms).
- Experience with web best practices such as A/B testing, test coverage.
- 3+ years of writing software and a CS degree.
- A strong sense of design.
- A preference for simple solutions.
- A component oriented mindset to development.
- An opinion on the best practices in a fast moving space.
- A bias for action and an optimistic attitude.
