COO & President, Etz Hayim
Etz Hayim is looking for a COO & President to take the helm of the organization so the Founder and current CEO can step back from day-to-day operations, allowing him to focus on new opportunities, strategies, and future innovations. This position works in close partnership with the Founder, requiring complementary skill sets.
Etz Hayim owns and operates the brands Cycling Frog and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, as well as a sprawling operation that spans from farming over 300 acres of hemp, extraction, chemical processing, packaging, and warehousing to support both brands and private label customers.
The right candidate will be operationally minded, process-driven, level-headed, charismatic, and financially astute. The business seeks a leader to drive the metamorphosis from a start-up company into a thriving, well-run business with sound practices and achievable, sustainable goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leadership
Lead all business operations. Be the internal and external face of the company.
Develop and refine the strategic revenue growth and business plan in partnership with the Leadership Team. Manage the execution and growth of the business plan.
Manage the leadership team to develop, execute, and optimize the Revenue, Marketing, and Operations plans, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze opportunities for cost savings, optimization, and growth.
Develop, communicate, and generate organizational buy-in to the 3 and 5-year business plan in partnership with the Founder and Leadership teams. Operationalize the vision of the Founder considering team limitations and market variability.
Develop the financial model for the business with the CFO and build overarching budgets, cash flow analysis, and determine business priorities working cross-functionally to drive profitability. - Operations
Be a hands-on leader who understands our systems and enjoys working on the production floor while prioritizing strategic leadership.
Assess operational practices, processes, and systems to drive improvements and align processes with business needs.
Develop the strategic operations plan in partnership with Operations leadership to support revenue growth and drive efficiency. - Culture & Team
Manage, train, and inspire our team. Create a culture that excites employees to contribute and promotes initiative, growth, and accountability.
Develop training programs that enable leaders and team members to achieve their potential and support company growth.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of COO, President, GM, or similar role in organizations with at least $10M of annual revenue.
- Ten years of experience in leadership roles managing 50-500 people.
- Experience in start-ups and mid-stage companies.
- Diverse experience across direct-to-consumer, B2B sales, and operations.
- Passionate and skilled at recruiting, training, developing, and coaching team members.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships and articulate key value propositions.
- Financially astute with an expert understanding of financial and marketing metrics.
- Highly process-driven and exceptionally organized.
- Experienced with Excel, Google Suite, ERPs, and system implementation.
- Willing to get hands dirty and have fun.
