Description
S.S. Equipment, one of the Northwest’s premier New Holland equipment dealerships, is seeking a full-time Service Manager overseeing our Quincy and Othello shops. Candidate will manage Service Technicians and assign their work while simultaneously managing work orders and communicating with customers. Due to the seasonality of our business, candidates must be able to work longer hours in the summer.
Requirements
Applicants Should Possess:
- Agricultural background
- Technician experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to prioritize and multitask
- Computer skills with the ability to learn new software
- Preference will be given to applicants with prior Service Manager experience at an equipment dealership
Service Manager Duties:
- Schedule and prioritize all service work
- Assign jobs to technicians while being mindful of their skills and knowledge level.
- Follows dealership and corporate training policies; delegate and assign training as required by manufacturers
- Reviews shop performance metrics monthly and identifies any room for improvement
- Be safety minded, identify any safety deficiencies and communicate with management team
