The Role
We are looking for a hands-on VP of Operations who will enhance operational efficiency and maintain Pointr’s competitive edge.
- Strategic Leadership: Develops and implements operational strategies to align with Pointr’s mission and growth objectives, ensuring the organization’s long-term success.
- Operational Excellence: Drives efficiency and effectiveness in daily business operations, meeting operational goals and maximizing productivity across all departments.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead HR Initiatives: Develop and enhance hiring procedures and recruitment programs to attract top talent and ensure a high-performing team.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and implementing robust controls.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the operations budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to support operational goals and financial efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Leadership Experience: 8-10+ years of managerial experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling teams and systems in a high-growth environment.
- Strategic Planning: Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and achieving quarterly and annual goals.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to drive innovation and growth within the organization.
- Tech Startup Experience: Having held a related role in a tech startup/scale-up will be a plus.
