What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and fully own payment processing infrastructure, integrating with various third parties
- Ship projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Mentor junior developers and uphold quality standards through code reviews
- Participate in cross-functional team projects and shape the technical roadmap
- Conduct experiments and be data-driven in decision-making processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, including 3+ years in payment processing or payments infrastructure
- 2+ years of experience with web services and modern frontend JS frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in an agile team
- Proven ability to drive complex projects end-to-end while maintaining high availability and reliability
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders on new tooling/infrastructure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience mentoring junior developers
- Working knowledge across various infrastructure, languages, and stacks (Python, Node, Gitlab, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake)
- SQL/analytics experience and familiarity with DevOps concepts
- Previous experience in a startup or scaleup environment
