A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 4-8 years of experience in Labor & Employment and/or Commercial Litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar. The role requires significant experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on handling complex cases and providing strategic legal counsel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate commercial disputes from inception through resolution, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial phases.
- Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and other commercial issues.
- Provide legal advice and strategic counsel to clients on commercial litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare detailed written analyses, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions, manage discovery, and handle all aspects of trial preparation.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in alternative dispute resolution processes, such as mediation and arbitration.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective litigation strategies.
- Stay current with developments in commercial litigation law and industry trends.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client service.
Requirements:
- 4-8 years of experience in Labor & Employment and/or Commercial Litigation.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required.
- Experience managing complex commercial litigation cases.
- Proven ability to provide strategic legal counsel and handle all aspects of litigation.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
