Job Description
- Primarily responsible for the overall management of the Legal Services Division and the efficient and effective delivery of Legal services to the Autohub Group of Companies, in accordance with Autohub philosophy and policies on legal matters and in compliance with the rules and regulations of government regulatory bodies.
- The Chief Legal Counsel leads in-house attorneys/Legal Counsels, provides strategic legal guidance, legal interpretations and recommendations particularly in the areas of legal compliance, contract management, risk management, legal research, dispute resolution, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and documentation and record-keeping.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and passed the Bar Exam
- Must have at least 10-12 years relevant experience in corporate / labor law, 5-7 years of which are in a managerial capacity
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Has excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Willing to work full time on a 6-day work week schedule (flexible work arrangement available)

Objectives: To provide legal support in matters pertaining to project audit, special projects, trade, investment and corporate affairs. To provide day-to-day support on legal matters for the Company’s business and contractual relations, and ensures compliance to the requirements of law for the conduct of its business.
Duties and Responsibilities: Draft and finalize legal documents; Prepare correspondences assigned to him/her; Research/prepare legal opinions/memoranda; Provide advice to other departments on legal issues; Provide the legal requirements of internal business units; Coordinate with other employees for the submission of supporting documents for legal opinions/position papers/correspondences; Coordinate with external legal counsels; Legal support and representation; Ensure compliance and housekeeping and management of the reportorial requirements of government agencies; and, Maintain and update files/documents in his/her custody.
