The Project Admin Officer is responsible for the administrative control over all staff and workers assigned to the project, including staffing and employment, counseling, and implementation of company policies.
DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS
- Monitors project timekeeping procedures, site safety, and security.
- Responsible for the administration of camp/staff house, including supervision of medical clinic and services, and canteen facilities and their operations.
- Facilitates and processes documentation for hiring skilled workers and personnel at the project site.
- Implements Company Policy and Code of Proper Conduct and Discipline of Employees.
- Coordinates with Barangay officials and LGUs to establish manpower pooling and recruitment and to establish good rapport.
- Facilitates acquisition of construction permits and clearances, processing of working permits with respective government agencies and/or private entities.
- Monitors the processing of payment of utilities such as power, water, and telephone billings.
- Prepares reports, internal and external memos, and letters as required by the Project-In-Charge or Project Manager.
- Attends weekly staff meetings involving manpower planning and forecasting.
- Monitors office supplies and equipment requisition and issuance, including inventory management.
- Regulates the use of company service vehicles assigned to the project site in coordination with Admin Head Office.
- In charge of the Timekeeper, Admin Clerk, Security, and Service Driver.
- Assumes duties and responsibilities as a member of the Project Committee on Discipline, Project Emergency Response Team, and Project Safety and Health Committee.
Serves as deputy to the Project-In-Charge/Project Manager in promoting and administering programs such as Total Quality Management (TQM).
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word).
- Strong leadership and coordination skills, analytical in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of effective teamwork.
- High regard for customer service, both internal and external.
- Ability to process and maintain recordkeeping or filing systems.
- Ability to work within deadlines and complete work in a timely manner.
- Willingness to be assigned as officer-of-the-day.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a graduate of any Business course or any 4-year course.
- At least 1 year of extensive experience in Project Employee/Workers Relations, Administrative, and General Services Supervision. Applicants must be willing to be assigned in Construction Projects.
- Must be willing to relocate and work in Cainta, Rizal.
