The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of cloud services to our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of ITILv4 practices, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), project and operational management, and experience with APIs and microservices. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of cloud services, ensuring alignment with ITILv4 best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction with service delivery.
- Develop and implement service delivery processes that meet both client and organizational needs.
Project & Operations Management:
- Lead cloud-related projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with operations teams to maintain the stability, security, and performance of cloud environments.
- Monitor and report on service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Cloud Expertise:
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.
- Collaborate with cloud architects to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in cloud service management.
API & Microservices Management:
- Work closely with development teams to integrate APIs and microservices into cloud environments.
- Oversee the deployment and management of microservices architectures to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner with developers to understand technical requirements and translate them into actionable service delivery plans.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and client stakeholders.
- Conduct regular service reviews with clients, addressing any issues and discussing future improvements.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing, IT service management, and software development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the service delivery team, leveraging feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ITILv4 certification is required.
- Proven experience in project and operations management, with a focus on cloud services.
- Strong background in AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience working with APIs and microservices.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with developers and other technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
