Job Description
The Content writer: Medica l at Remedium will have the primary objective of communicating complex medical information in clear and compliant writing across various static and digital mediums.
The incumbent must be aware of current industry practices and regulatory requirements that affect clinical marketing and messaging. They must keep abreast of current literature, emerging science, technological developments and medical trends.
A strong communicator with meticulous attention to detail, the incumbent has to have solid writing and organizational skills. Should work well independently or as part of a team in high-pressure situations. In addition to these general skills and personality traits, Remedium seek its Content Writer- Medical with the following skills.
Core skills:
· Extensive knowledge of English grammar with a familiarity with a standard style guide
· Ability to communicate scientific or medical information in a clear and concise manner
· Experience in medico marketing and development of in clinic, Omnichannel and CME collaterals
· Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and the Internet
· Familiarity with basic principles of clinical research
· Ability to interpret and present clinical data and other complex information
· The ability to follow and write briefs
Basic skills :
· The incumbent will need to write and edit a vast range of resources, including:
o Information for patients, such as health advice leaflets and websites
o Educational materials for HCPs, including brochures, Visual Aids, slides, posters, speaker briefs and presentations for conferences
o Company newsletters
o Medical reports
o Materials for the public relations team, such as press releases.
· As well as creating content, a medical writer or editor’s role will involve:
o Ensuring that the content, format, and structure of the documents comply with regulatory, journal, or other guidelines
o Reviewing and proofreading materials to check quality and scientific accuracy
o Monitoring deadlines and ensuring projects are delivered on time so they can dovetail with other company-wide projects
o Liaising directly with clients and authors/speakers on various projects
Basic Qualification Required:
The role will require you to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree like, B Pharm or BDS
The candidate should have at-least 1 year of employed or freelancing experience as a clinical content writer actively working on Visual Aids and in- clinic creative assets.
