Your role in a nutshell:
As the Solutions Lead for Azure Cloud Infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing Cloud Specialists & Consultants and Cloud Solution Architects specializing in Microsoft Azure Network and Infrastructure stack following delivery standards using Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework. You will focus on FastTrack usage/revenue and Microsoft Commerce Incentives formerly known as Microsoft Cloud Accelerator Workshops.
What You Will Do:
Team Management
- Lead and supervise the Azure Infra team members.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Delegate tasks and assign project responsibilities based on individual strengths and expertise.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address any performance issues.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
Project Planning and Execution
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their business requirements and define project scopes for Microsoft Azure implementations.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure the successful deployment and migration to Microsoft Azure.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Coordinate with other teams or departments to ensure seamless integration of Microsoft Azure solutions into customer’s IT infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to project deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations.
Technical Expertise
- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Azure technologies, products, and services relevant to the customer service industry.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team, assisting with complex problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with sales, account managers, and business development teams to support presales activities, including solution design and proposal development.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for Microsoft Azure-related matters.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality Microsoft Azure solutions, addressing concerns, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
Process Improvement
- Continuously evaluate existing processes, methodologies, and best practices related to Microsoft Azure implementations and administration.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance team efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
- Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge.
What We Look For:
- You are a degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance.
- Hands-on experience with Azure administration and development.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Ability to design and implement Azure solutions that align with business requirements and frameworks like the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
- Experience in advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to work with various roles such as developers, administrators, security engineers, and data engineers.
- You have a background or exposure in pre-sales.
- Good and effective communication skills.
- Team player; can work with multiple cross-functional teams.
- Your ability to negotiate and suggest solutions to customers.
- You have a desire to work on organized and well-planned projects.
- You thrive in a fast-paced tech environment.
- Your ability to work well under pressure, whether from the customer side or other factors like tight timelines.
