Job Description
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Accountable for direction, growth and management of the organization including:
- Control budgets and optimize expenses
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Ensure employees are motivated and productive
- Meeting contractual obligations while optimizing cost and total operating expenditure
- Leading the implementation and compliance to the HSSE Management System and HSSE case onsite
- Manage waste management customer relationships:
- Develop and implement effective communications protocols to achieve efficient day-to-day operations
- Establish and host operational meetings with local government units
- Develop and manage the effective implementation of operational processes to achieve sustainable high performance of the site:
- Operations and Maintenance Excellence
- Technical Assurance
- Delivery of Minor Modifications Projects
- Management of Change
- Emergency Response
- Permit to Work & Safe Isolations
- Integrated Activity Planning
- Manage relationships, in coordination with the local government and the community.
- Develop and manage the Operations business plan and budget, in line with the organization's strategic business objectives.
- Ensure that all business control, contractual/legal and statutory requirements are complied with, including compliance and reporting requirements.
- Coach and develop staff. Establish a robust succession plan with a healthy pool of talents.
The Successful Applicant
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Assessed competent in "Management of major emergencies (Act as On Scene Commander)" to a recognized standard
- Proven knowledge of business and industry practice. Candidate should have the ability to assess the impact of commercial and technical decisions
- A minimum 5 years work experience on Contract management, budget planning, and stakeholders meeting.
- Relevant experience on waste management industry or related field
- Experienced leader of communities leading high performing teams.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills that inspire and energize people and create a clear sense of direction and priorities. Able to engage audiences at different levels on technical and management issues.
- Ability to manage and drive multidiscipline, multinational teams and coach/mentor less experienced team members.
- Strong personal commitment to personal and process safety
- Good organization and task management skills
- Familiar with MS office and SAP a plus
