Our client is a 5* boutique resort with less than 100 units and multiple F&B outlets on an idyllic beach on a tropical island in the Philippines. The Resort is still in the pre-opening phase.
Note that this resort is located in a magnificent, but remote location.
You will be heavily involved with the pre-opening activities and will later on be overseeing the day-to-day operations of this unique property and lead and mentor a team of passionate local staff who will deliver a truly memorable experience for their guests.
This role will be reporting directly to the COO of the Group.

Profile
- 5*, leisure resort and boutique hotel experience
- Able to deal effectively with guests in a luxury boutique environment
- Experience in a structured international hotel environment
- Remote location experience is a must
- Pre-opening experience is a plus
- Asia experience is a plus
- Good understanding of island life, logistics, landscaping, preventive maintenance
- Actively involved in ensuring excellent guest experience and innovative in revenue generating efforts
- Highly interactive, people friendly, sensitive to staff needs and a great team player
- Well presented, sociable, outgoing pleasant personality
- Able to work autonomously
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
