What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field.
- Previous role with an IT&T System Integrator, Managed Service Provider, or similar organization.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as level 3 as an MSP/Technical Engineer in a global environment.
Skills/Tools/Technologies needed:
- Experience in end-user support, Windows Server, Azure, and O365.
- In-depth exposure across technical infrastructure from desktop to server, LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, mail servers, databases, etc.
- Azure, Hyper-V, VMWare, and Citrix experience.
- Ticketing systems, customer service principles, project delivery experience, remote desktop applications, and help desk software.
- Experience with cybersecurity products/principles and penetration testing are highly preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Industry experience working within an AU Managed Services Provider Company.
- ITIL, Microsoft, and Cybersecurity Certifications are desirable.
What will you do?
- End-to-end project delivery to deploy solutions to customers in the SMB market.
- Work with highly experienced solutions experts to maintain best practice environments.
- Support a combination of servers, desktops, and applications within Microsoft Azure, on-premises, and M365 environments.
- Deliver support of Azure, Hyper-V, VMWare, and Citrix infrastructure.
- Perform a wide variety of support across many technologies, primarily in the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Maintain our expanding Cybersecurity program.
- Research and implement fixes for new issues that are outside of the skill level of the Level 1 and 2 techs.
- Troubleshooting, configuration, database administration, and repair for server, network, infrastructure, data center, email, file shares, and other infrastructure issues.
- Manage Microsoft Office 365, Global Spam Filtering, Managed AV, Managed Backup, and many other cloud solutions.
- Provide remote service desk support to a variety of environments from 10 - 500 users as a point of escalation and SME.
- Assist the helpdesk manager with any technical requests and escalations.
