Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create financial forecasts, budgets, and financial models.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
- Oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Manage cash flow, investment strategies, and capital structure.
- Supervise accounting, auditing, tax, and treasury functions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Optimize financial processes and systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and manage financial risks.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate financial performance and strategies to stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and investors.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper training and development programs for finance staff.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
