What You'll Do
As the Head of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's organisation. Your primary responsibility will be managing organisational change with the aim of increasing employee satisfaction and productivity. You will identify opportunities for improving, developing and conserving human resources while demonstrating your ability to use data and statistics to solve real-world HR problems. Your role will also involve managing hiring practices, including recruiting and selection, as well as strategically planning human resource strategies in support of organisational goals.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and innovative solutions to complex HR challenges, including compensation and benefits structures, ensuring competitive and fair employee packages.
- Develop and execute comprehensive human resource strategies, including compensation, benefits, and performance management plans, that align with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, interpret, and enforce company policies and procedures in accordance with Department of Labor and Employment regulations, ensuring full compliance with labor laws, compensation policies, and best practices.
- Identify, develop, and implement strategies to optimize human resource utilization, including talent development, retention, and workforce conservation, while driving long-term organizational success.
- Lead and manage organizational change initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity, ensuring alignment with business objectives and HR operations.
- Oversee and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from talent acquisition and selection to onboarding, ensuring the company attracts top talent while maintaining efficient hiring processes.
- Provide expert guidance and support to management teams on HR-related matters, including labor regulations, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, ensuring consistency and fairness across all levels.
- Supervise HR staff in their day-to-day operations, providing leadership and direction, while establishing performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR functions and initiatives.
What You Bring
The ideal candidate for the Head of Human Resources position brings a wealth of experience in HR management. With 10 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 5 years at managerial level or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of extensive managerial or director-level experience, with a minimum total of 10 years in the HR field.
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related fields.
- Experience in leading and executing multiple HR, OD, or training-related programs or projects, demonstrating effective change management and team leadership.
- In-depth understanding of HR operations, labor regulations, compensation, and benefits management, ensuring compliance and competitive employee packages.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, with familiarity in industry-specific HR challenges and regulatory requirements, is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, particularly in sales and marketing functions, to drive business alignment and HR initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of developing HR strategies that support organizational growth and employee development.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to manage and mentor HR professionals, while ensuring successful execution of HR policies and initiatives.
