This position reports into the Customer Development Director and is based in Paranaque City.

What You Will Do
The Head of Modern Trade will lead the Sales strategy for the National Key Accounts (NKA) channel, and be responsible for the end to end ownership of business delivery (from topline to bottom-line) for the total channel. He/She will manage and provide leadership and guidance to the sales team. At this level, the position has a greater degree of impact on the business results and typically, responsibility for managing a group of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs the activities of the Group Key Account Managers (GKAM) and Key Account Managers (KAM) to ensure compliance with the business plan. Establishes sales targets and goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Defines and directs the sales strategy for the channel. Leads the strategic development and implementation of the growth plans for NKA.
- Builds strong relationships with key leaders, partners, customers, internal or external to the sales organization.
- Ensures sales activities are in compliance with all federal/national, state, local and company regulations, policies and procedures.
- Manages staffing, training, and performance evaluations with the team. Develops the senior GKAMs to be better mentors and coaches for the field sales team.
- Develops, recommends and/or participates in sales campaigns to accommodate business goals. Monitors performance/effectivity of campaigns.
- Utilizes all necessary marketing information.
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules and discount rates.
- Meets or exceeds established sales quotas and margins through the implementation of sales and marketing activities within the expense budget.
- Establishes/maintains contact with key customers and senior level customers.
- Ensures appropriate account management of new and existing accounts.
- Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.
What We Are Looking For
Key Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
- At least 10 years’ experience in the FMCG business with strong background in key accounts management.
- With strong people leadership background, having managed big teams.
- Strong business acumen with holistic enterprise mindset.
- Highly passionate in making a positive impact in our consumers’ lives.
