Looking for MBA professionals from Tier 1 institutions, preferably engineering graduates, with 15+ years of experience in Strategy and Bid management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end bid management for the businesses. Act as a Project Manager and handle the team ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Responsible for complete bid assessment including traffic assessment, commercial assessment, capex assessment, regulatory assessment, financial model, risks assessment, etc.
- Comprehensive risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
- Responsible for preparing strategic roadmaps for domestic and international markets. Subsequently, the strategic roadmap needs to be transformed into strategic plans, business plans, and operating plans as and when required.
- Preparation of bid documents, attending pre-bid meetings, preparing queries, responding to the queries, site visits, etc.
- Identifying services required from consultants with respect to a bid, prepare their scope of work, discuss and freeze the deliverables along with the timelines, negotiate the contract pricing, and appoint them (e.g., Traffic consultant, Real Estate consultant, etc.).
- Work extensively with various internal teams for preparation of the bids. Effective cross-functional and team management.
- Proactively interacting with the Big 4 consultants, market consultants, regional players in international geographies for gathering market intelligence on upcoming and related business opportunities.
- Identifying local partners for overseas opportunities, conducting due diligence and assessment of the local partners, do the assessment and present it to the HOD with the recommendations.
- Responsible for the financial and business modeling for the bids.
- Prepare implementation plan and transition plan for the assets post winning of the bid. Work closely with internal teams on the smooth transition of the asset to the concerned team.
- Responsible for preparation of departmental AOP and budgeting.
- Exploring and analyzing growth opportunities, to prepare go-no go recommendations and present to senior management.
- Exploring new geographies and analyzing them for penetration into newer markets.
- Various internal and external stakeholder management.
- Strategic plans, business development pipeline, weekly updates, and various updates for management review.
