Position Overview:
The Product Director is responsible of the PnL of the product/s that he/she handles. He sets direction for the product go-to-market with the strategic objective to generate revenues for the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue generation - Ensures that the Sales team can effectively sell the product; Helps Sales in crafting proposals/solution offering and close deals.
- Product SME – Acts as the pre-sales support to Sales; Does client presentations with Sales
- Product viability - Maintains the competitiveness and relevance of the product – defines pricing and design offering, draws the product roadmap and innovations.
- Operational efficiency - Functionally oversees delivery operations that directly affect the PnL.
- Marketing and lead generation – Positions the product in the market. Generates passive and active leads. Handles telemarketing. Provides sales collaterals – product decks and sales materials.
- Expansion of product portfolio – launches new viable products as new revenue stream for Yondu.
- Partner Management – Manages 3rd party partners – principals and vendors adjacent to the product
- Equips the Sales team through Product Training Holistically leads product strategy, GTM
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or equivalent disciplines
Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years solid experience in Product Management
- Strength on B to B and B to B to C product marketing,
- Exposure on IT related product/services
