Accounting, A/P & Treasury Head
Duties & Responsibilities
- Audit
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process. Ensure compliance with the tax laws, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards.
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Prepare Client Adjusting Journal Entries.
Monitor all the submission of audit requirements.
Prepare COS Allocation.
Prepare Bank Reconciliation. - Taxes
Check monthly and quarterly remittances such as VAT, EWT, and Withholding Tax Compensation.
Prepare the quarterly Income Tax Return required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
Facilitate timely submission and filing of all tax returns and payments.
Handle and assist the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Local Government Unit tax assessments for all the data needed. - Accounts Payable
Establish and implement work standards and ensure proper maintenance of records, documentation, and filing to support all accounting entries.
Review and check the accuracy of requests for check preparation and Accounts Payable Vouchers to ensure the correctness of recording transactions.
Respond to queries, complaints, and requests from internal and external customers of Accounts Payable and other transaction processing matters. - Treasury
Ensure the company’s liquidity.
Provide guidance and mentorship to improve the treasury reports.
Facilitate bank requirements for updating signatories and other payment options. - Accounting
Assist other departments with regards to accounting procedures, policies, and other concerns pertaining to their transactions.
Review balance sheets, general ledger accounts, and income statement schedules.
Present monthly AEI Financial Performance and insights.
Check MD Share Reconciliation.
Oversee year-end inventory count and summarize actual count per satellite.
Assist in monthly closing adjusting entries.
Provide guidance and mentorship to accountants for better understanding of accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- At least 3 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
- Experience with Navision or other ERP systems like Netsuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Preferred if the candidate has experience in the medical industry.
- CPA.
