Job Description
Get to Know the Team
The Group Marketplace team manages Grab's marketplaces across Southeast Asia. You will work with stakeholders across multiple departments to drive business improvements via marketplace levers such as pricing, incentives, and allocation. The team also generates business insights and proposes data-driven strategic plans to grow the business across both transport and deliveries.
Get to Know the Role
As a Marketplace Lead for Grab's transport business in the Philippines, you will use data-driven insights to create a sustainable, reliable, and efficient marketplace. You will collaborate with different teams, including Product and Country Operations, and work with large datasets in piecing data together to form insights. You will report into the Manager, Mobility Marketplace in a hybrid working arrangement.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will lead projects involving cross-functional teams to improve metrics on all sides of the marketplace.
- You will propose new experiments and manage the end-to-end experimentation process, including design, rollout, and analysis of results.
- You will monitor marketplace metrics, investigate anomalies, and troubleshoot with the product team when needed.
- You will develop both tactical solutions and longer-term strategic plans to improve marketplace dynamics.
Qualifications
- You have at least 3 years of working experience in a related field and must be comfortable analysing complex datasets to draw insights.
- You will manage projects involving multiple teams, ensuring that all milestones are met.
- You can break down complex problems into actionable solutions based on data insights.
- You seek to understand the marketplace economics and impactful opportunities.
