The Reliability Engineer plans and performs various condition monitoring activities for plant equipment to help ensure and achieve high equipment availability and reliability in a cost effective manner including implementation of lubrication programs in accordance with required standard.
Responsibilities:
- Provides and conducts timely and accurate machine condition information by routinely collecting, interpreting, and analyzing equipment vibration, temperature (using thermal camera) cracks, pressure, wear, current, speed, and machinery data in order to determine potential problems and prevent equipment breakdowns and extend service life of equipment.
- Supports corrective action plans such dynamic balancing of fans and testing & re-commissioning of repaired mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Develops, plans, and supervises implementation of lubrication programs and ensures all technical specifications of lubrication requirements.
- Supports the Maintenance team in the identification, analysis, and reviewing of repetitive problems related to lubrication with those responsible for corrections.
- Assists the Preventive Maintenance Manager in the preparation of the annual budget, monitoring, and cost control concerning lubrication.
Requirements:
- Graduate of any of the following engineering discipline: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication or Industrial Engineering course
- Must be a Licensed Engineer
- Must be a Certified Machinery Vibration Analyst and must have a Level 1 Thermography Certification
- Preferably with Certificate in Machinery Lubrication Technology
- Must have three (3) years experience in maintenance field work in a manufacturing plant.
- Must be knowledgeable in mechanical/ electrical equipment diagnostic method which included vibration, thermography, MCA, NDT & other advance tools necessary for condition monitoring
- Must be knowledgeable in lubrication equipment operation and maintenance and has an understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic system
- Preferably with experience in cement manufacturing process
