Click&Boat is the leading European boat rental platform. Our marketplace aims to make boating accessible around the world and to provide private and professional boat owners with additional income from boat rentals.
Since our conception in 2013, we have grown substantially and acquired 3 companies in 3 different European countries (Spain, Germany, and France) these last 4 years. In 2022, our growth has been powered by an incoming major equity fund and the world’s largest boating marketplace.
So far, we have opened for business in more than 50 countries and 600 destinations, and we are also a diverse team of 200 employees from 20 different countries.
Our headquarters are based in Paris on a barge moored on the Seine River, and our operational teams are located in Barcelona, in the vibrant neighborhood of Poblenou.
Job description
Team:
In Click&Boat, there are 3 main operational Business Units:
- Supply: deals with boat owners and ensures the boats available on our platform generate revenues with the highest quality of service.
- Sales: deals with tenants and supports them all along the booking process, from quotations to closing the deal.
- Customer Care: represents the point of contact for our customers after a booking is closed by the Sales team (before, during, and after the trip), linking boat owners and tenants (booking modification or cancellation, insurance or accident issues, etc).
As a Sales Lead, you will join the Sales team of Click&Boat, a business unit of an average of 40 people.
The team is managed by Jonathan, VP of Sales, and your direct manager. You will join a managerial team of 5 Leads (including you), each responsible for a market.
Missions:
Build up your team (20%): Recruitment and initial training of the French Sales Team. The team is to be rebuilt from scratch, so we need you to hire talented sales executives and grow it to around 15 people during peak season.
Manage your team (60%): Communicate targets and empower your team to make the sales agents perform at their best through training, direct guidance, team meetings, and floor animation.
Smart Reporting (20%): Own your team's KPI and the knowledge of your market to communicate the most relevant information upward and downward regularly.

Preferred experience
- You are a native French speaker, fluent in English.
- You are an excellent commercial with at least two years of successful sales experience.
- You are an excellent manager with at least two years of management experience, leading a team of at least 5 people.
- You possess excellent analytical skills.
- You are a challenge seeker and a source of proposals.
- You are a team player who inspires trust, ready to take initiative and fight for user satisfaction.
- You can handle difficult situations and remain calm in all circumstances.
- You are interested in fast-moving environments; you are proactive and ready to share your ideas to improve our services.
