Position Summary
In this role you will be a contact worker for the Denver VA Medical Center. Performing tasks related to Accounts Receivable Technicians. The Accounts Receivable Technicians will provide non-technical and technical processing of check refunds on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to the Department of Veterans Affairs
Contract Details
52 weeks contract with possibility to extend each year. Monday through Friday, 8 - 4:30 PM shifts.
Core Responsibilities
Actively assists with the administrative support related to accounts receivable. Prepares reports, program documentation, graphics presentations, plans and coordinates meetings/conferences. Performs data entry, filing, and reproduction. Applies familiarity with specialized and technical terminology to proofread and edit documents. Verifies any and all reminders “due” at the time. Answers phones and timely relays messages. Remain focused on achieving excellent clinical outcomes through data input accuracy and within the specified VA guidelines. Must provide excellent customer service to each veteran, both in person and over the phone, as well as to fellow colleagues and visitors. Embrace and support new initiatives, whether clinical or operational. Requirements
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education Minimum 5 years of experience as a administrative assistant in a related accounts receivable field. Must be credentialed and remain in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA). Must be a US Citizen.
This job is CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.
