The successful candidate will work as part of a small team focused on process improvement, operational and performance analytics, project support, and other high priority initiatives.
Job Summary
As a Business Analysis Manager in our Business Intelligence Team for Merchant Payment Solutions Center, you will manage a high impact team of analysts and business experts. Your role will focus on promoting innovation, operational efficiency, and providing excellent decision support analytics. You will have the opportunity to make strategic recommendations and deliver business insights. This role will allow you to navigate various systems and tools, work with cross-functional teams, and participate in planning key business initiatives. Your ability to create high-quality executive presentations and articulate complex topics will be highly valued.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver monthly business insights highlighting performance and training opportunities with goal of coaching, developing front-line specialists to deliver excellent client service. Provide recommendations for process improvements to product/tech teams, collaborate to design solutions or create “in-house” tools/solutions given available technology. Explore and learn new business processes, understand customer journey, identify opportunities, and create/drive innovative solutions or recommendations to ensure performance excellence. Learn and navigate several systems and tools, partner with cross-functional, cross . / global teams to solve client problems. Participate in planning key business initiatives, working across different business units and functions. Create high quality executive presentations, as well as ad hoc views and special topic storylines / pages. Articulate and document complex and ambiguous topics in an easy to digest at executive level.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in a field such Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, or Operations Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience. Minimum 3 years of management experience, directly managing staff. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with proven, demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of an organization (written, voice, and in person). A critical thinker with the ability to understand, dissect and analyze information and provide sustainable solutions; capable of challenging the norm and making recommendations. Works well under pressure with minimal supervision; superior time management and prioritization skills, manage multiple and competing priorities. Strong experience with creating professional presentations and communication for consumption by senior executives. Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Power-Point
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Generally 5 years in advanced account management, relationship management, wholesale client relations or client servicing experience preferred. Knowledge financial services (wholesale clients); Experience in the payments business or Merchant Services. Knowledge of software packages /platforms (Python, SQL, SAS, UNIX, Teradata, Oracle)
