Remuneration
The salary range is $80,000 to $170,000 + super and KPI-based bonus scheme.
About the Role
This is a senior mentoring role. You will be advising clients on a wide range of building & construction matters, such as dispute resolution, construction agreements, construction disputes and construction litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a diverse range of legal cases across multiple areas within the construction law space e.g., Litigation’s, Adjudication, QBCC and alternate dispute resolutions.
- Provide accurate, timely, and strategic legal advice to clients.
- Conduct and manage all phases of litigation including trials, arbitrations, mediations, and settlements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents and agreements.
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and legal support staff.
- Liaise with senior management and provide clear and concise reports.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures.
- Participate actively in business development activities to expand the firm’s client base and market presence.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and changes in the law to ensure the firm and its clients are in a position of advantage.
Qualifications/Ideal applicant
- A relevant Australian Law degree.
- PAE: 5 – 10+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Admission to practice law in QLD is a must, NSW and VIC (not compulsory)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex cases independently.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
