Due to recent growth and expansion, we are currently seeking a professional, driven, and highly motivated person to fill the role of WHSEQ Compliance Advisor.
Reporting to the National WHS Operations Manager, the candidate would be responsible for assisting the WHSEQ Compliance team achieve and maintain compliance to external certifications following WHSEQ strategic directions. This role is also expected to support WHSEQ team implement Business Management Systems and support the Safety program to achieve and maintain compliance.

About the role:
Your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Provide Business Management System support to the WHSEQ Department
- Assist with WHSEQ administration task & WHSEQ registers maintenance
- Carry out Internal Business Management & Project Management System auditing as required
- Assist with facilitation of external audits, OFSC audits and reporting requirements
- Maintain company licences and certifications and communicate legislative updates to respective stakeholders
- Support compliance team in the continual improvement process
- Assist in the development and maintenance of WHSEQ data
- Support WHSEQ Team in preparing monthly WHSEQ Board Reports and other required reports
- Monitor and manage WHSEQ email inbox and raise items of concern with respective stakeholder
- Support in preparing training presentations and materials
- Complete any other reasonable adhoc tasks required by the National WHSEQ Manager and WHSEQ Compliance Lead
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Management System Audit Qualifications
- Certificate IV WHS
- Must be able to obtain Australian Defence Force (ADF) Defence Common Access Card (DCAC)Clearance and Police Check
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Have an understanding of WHSEQ principles and their application including ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
- Australian Driver’s Licence
- Construction Industry White Card
