Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Ensure adherence to established local and Viatris Global processes and guidelines, adhering to national and international regulations and guidelines for pharmacovigilance.
- Lead and coordinate the PV team members in the country.
- Organize, implement, and maintain the Affiliate PV System. Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators, and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiatives.
- Specific areas of responsibility include: ISCR handling, Periodic Safety Reporting, Compliance, Training, SOP’s, Audits and Inspections, Management of Safety Data Agreements and other PV agreements, Risk Management plan, PV business continuity and archiving.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's degree in Medical, Pharmacy, Life Science.
- 3 years experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- A minimum of 2 years Pharmacovigilance experience.
- Strong communicator with excellent project management skills, team working skills, organizational skills, and capable of working efficiently in the local team as well as in other cross-functional teams.
- Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).
