How will I help?
The Commercial Planning Manager (Go-to-Market) is accountable for managing the Brand & Marketing budget, identifying opportunities to reinvest expense savings, supporting business cases & benefits tracking, and supporting GTM planning, capacity management & communications.
Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining the annual budget for Brand & Marketing, which involves leading a monthly Budget Forum to provide comprehensive budget summaries and detailed commentary.
- Collaboration with activity leads to ensure that year-to-date actuals and forecasted expenses are accurately captured.
- Conducting fortnightly finance meetings to align and enhance cross-team efficiencies, with a focus on driving a 'Save to Invest' program to identify cost savings that can be reinvested into working media or growth initiatives.
- Producing ad hoc reporting and insights as needed to support the strategic direction set by the leadership team, including aiding in business case modeling and tracking the benefits of these cases, such as those related to MarTech.
- Managing the capacity forecast model, requiring coordination with the Marketing & Media teams and agency partners to ensure efficient resource allocation and project management.
- Supporting go-to-market (GTM) planning tasks, including maintaining the GTM calendar to reflect all current activities, preparing campaign windows and executive internal communications, and assisting with the coordination of briefs and go-live readiness sessions.
- Managing risks and ensuring mandatory training are treated as top priorities to maintain compliance and mitigate potential issues.
