The Analyst - Technology and Data Risk role supports the Operations Division Risk & Compliance team in managing technology and data risks effectively.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Establish and implement a risk assessment process for technology and data risks.
- Design and execute a first-line controls testing program to meet regulatory requirements.
- Conduct testing of control design and operating effectiveness, document findings, and track remediation plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on control gaps and support regulatory responses.
- Prepare risk profile reports for business risk forums and promote a risk-aware culture.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
- Strong knowledge of technology risk management and security standards/frameworks (such as APRA CPS 234, CPG 234, ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in IT Audit, technology risk assurance, or information security.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Professional judgment and ability to deliver in high-pressure environments.
You would benefit from having:
- Certifications in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), and/or Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA).
