Role Overview
UMENCO is recruiting a Head of Online & Digital Transformation for an Australian heritage family-owned beauty brand based in Sydney, poised for significant growth.
This brand is driven by its passion for retail and bold vision to shake up a market dominated by global giants. This leadership role within the management team offers a unique opportunity. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll adopt a hands-on approach to work with a dedicated marketing team, elevating them with your growth marketing expertise and deep brand insight. With an established eCommerce presence and loyal customer base the goal of this role is to seize the opportunity to optimise SEO, paid media, UX/CX, and tap into new channels such as TikTok to engage fresh audiences.
The successful Head of Online & Digital Transformation will be a specialist who excels with data, blends brand understanding with creativity and thrives on execution. The successful talent will be passionate about skincare and retail, eager to expand reach and have extensive knowledge of the eCommerce landscape. They will have a commitment to ongoing learning and will use data-driven insights to tackle complex challenges and devise growth strategies. Proficiency in forecasting, budget management and identifying long-term opportunities is essential. As a leader, the successful talent will be a source of inspiration, be aligned with the brands core values and maintain a solution-focused mindset.
In this role, the successful talent will be at the forefront of the brands eCommerce revolution, driving online revenue growth across the entire digital landscape of the brand. Responsibilities include shaping and executing the global eCommerce strategy, analysing market trends and consumer behaviour and setting actionable KPI’s. They will create multi-channel growth strategies, oversee campaign optimisation and use data to ensure ROI. Other key elements to the role are refining the website for better user experience, managing email acquisition, and collaborating with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business goals. The role will also involve developing detailed performance reports, managing product merchandising, working with development partners on CRO strategies and executing comprehensive retail and digital marketing plans.
