We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to lead our structural team of Engineers and Drafters in Canberra. Main Responsibilities:
- You will manage and oversee the development of staff and staffing projections for ongoing and future projects within their team, while maintaining a positive relationship with current clients, and works to develop sales and marketing opportunities for the future pipeline.
- Assume responsibility for management and profitability of multiple complex large-scale projects including pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and monitoring progress, resourcing, meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Responsible for the development, management, and training of staff including recruitment, selection, and remuneration.
- Manage the technical and contractual aspects of projects to ensure technical requirements are met and performed in compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, TTW policies and procedures.
- Apply advanced engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Architecture or equivalent.
- Membership with Engineers Australia and CPEng.
- Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in engineering design in a consulting environment.
- Ability to scheme up major projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
