You will

About The Role You will be
proactive, sales focused, process driven, and have experience working in a fast-paced client-focused environment . You will have experience in and have the ability to drive sales of the business forward from being seasonally reactive to being busy throughout the year.
You will have
sales experience with the following markets: Corporate, MICE, Government, Groups, Internationals, Celebrities, VIPs, Small Businesses, and individuals looking to party . You will thrive at the challenge of identifying, creating, and implementing new initiatives, campaigns, and promotions for a range of target markets and segments.
This role is suited to a
results-driven individual who is hands-on with the ability to manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve tangible outcomes.
Key Requirements - Ability to provide regular coaching activities for sales team members
- Demonstrated experience monitoring and managing a sales team to perform and hit targets
- Experience creating sales campaigns and initiatives from beginning to end
- Ability to proactively think and plan ahead for future key dates and events
- Ability to target prospects and run targeted campaigns
- Understanding how to use technology and systems to work smarter, not harder
- Take responsibility for identified and agreed actions
- High level of motivation, self-discipline, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lead, guide, structure, and motivate a sales team
- Previous experience within the tourism, boating, and hospitality sector is advantageous
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders (internal & external)
- Creative flair – think outside the box to achieve sales goals & revenue targets
- Ability to create and maintain strong professional relationships
- Energy, drive, and tenacity to succeed
- Solid sales experience (outbound & warm-calling) is crucial
- An individual who is KPI driven, hungry for sales, and has a strong work ethic
- An individual who is approachable, talkative & engaging sales professional
To be considered for this challenging role, the following skills and attributes MUST be demonstrated: - Relevant degree or industry experience in sales and marketing
- Extensive sales process knowledge
- A solid understanding and in-depth knowledge of the client’s market segments
- Ability to build systems and sales processes to get your team firing on all cylinders
- Ability to collaboratively develop a sales plan that drives revenue throughout the year
- Highly organised, excellent time management skills, and the ability to excel with strict deadlines
- Technology and commercially savvy with proven experience in a similar role
- Strong business partnering skills coupled with exceptional negotiation skills
- Exceptional communication skills with the natural ability to influence sales outcomes
